As an International educator, I am striving to broaden my classroom with an open mind to the world by:
- Learn about the culture of the country I am living in;
- Strive to understand student’s background;
- Respect local culture and customs;
- Teach respect in the classroom through my example;
- Understand each student and their individual needs;
- Be open-minded to making changes when necessary;
- Show kindness towards students;
- Create a safe and secure classroom environment;
- Help students to become global citizens by teaching them to be inquisitive, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced, and reflective.
